Credit Analyst

Experienced Credit Analyst required for 12 month fixed term contract.
Our client is a leading financial services institution based in Dublin. They now require experienced Credit Analysts to work on a 3 month contract basis for their Commercial and Retail Credit department.
Role Overview
Supporting the management of commercial and / or retail credit to optimize portfolio return and identify, treat and minimize the risk of credit default. Successful candidates will have a strong background in commercial or retail bank lending and strong credit review and /or risk analysis experience.
· Supporting the management of a portfolio of commercial and/or retail loans
· Reviewing specific loan cases and preparing risk assessments
· Identifying and escalating high-risk cases and preparing remediation recommendations
· Developing work-out and re-structuring approaches for at-risk or impaired credit cases
· Supporting the revision of the as-is credit review processes to achieve process improvements
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven Credit assessment and credit management skills, ideally from a Commercial and retail Credit Analyst position within financial services.
· Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
· Commitment to managing and maintaining a strong relationship with existing clients.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and ideally possess financial modelling skills.
· An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
· An energetic and enthusiastic approach to identifying, targeting & developing new business.
